Prayer Action Opportunities

This is the place where everyone can be a part of the mighty prevailing prayer movement at Cottage Hill. Becoming a Watchman is as simple as committing to pray 1 hour per week for the needs and vision of our church. You’ll use the Watchman Alert as a prayer guide which is printed weekly in the bulletin. You’ll also receive occasional Extra Alerts via email as critical needs arise. Pray at home or sign up for an hour in The Prayer Room.Click here to commit now! Click here to commit now!

Cottage Hill has had an active prayer room for 35 years! This wonderful place of solitude enables us to keep continuous prayer happening on the campus of Cottage Hill. A prayer line comes directly to the room and we receive calls from all over the country. In addition to interceding for the requests made by phone, this special secure room is available 24 hours a day and provides a perfect opportunity for you to develop your prayer life as “prayer stations” guide you through a balanced prayer time. Your commitment is to sign-up to pray in the room for just 1 hour each week. Some of our participants find it so special that they come more than once a week. Click here to sign-up and we'll contact you with help to find a convenient time to serve.

Prayer Partners are two people that agree to pray over the telephone or meet at a convenient time and location once a week or couples may choose to pray together at home each week. Click here to register as Prayer Partners. (Prayer partners won’t be listed on the groups page but registering will help us to be aware of your prayer activity.)

Every week groups of Cottage Hill members meet at various locations on our campus and throughout the city. Click here to find a group to join or to let us know about your current group if not already listed.

"Therefore…pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5:16
As a part of the House of Prayer Initiative we’ve launched a new opportunity to put your prayers into action. The trained Care Prayer Team is sent out to visit the hospitals and pray with the sick. How often, when, and where you visit will depend on your availability. Could you commit to at least two visits monthly? If so, and if you sense God leading you into this wonderful ministry of “the body ministering to the body”, click here to sign up and we'll contact you with details on the next training session.

The Pastor's PIT (Prayer Intercessory Team) Crew is comprised of men and women who pray for our pastor and worship team during every Sunday worship celebration. We believe God is hearing the cries of these prayer warriors and is sending revival to our fellowship! If you are interested in joining this group you’ll be assigned to a rotation schedule and pray one out of every 6 to 8 weeks. (Our students actually have a version of this for there ministry every Wednesday evening!) Click here to sign up and we'll contact you for group assignment.
